Q-York

It began as a regular day for me with the same worn-out routine. However, for Flava Matikz and Knowa Lazarus, no day is too regular to celebrate love. I was once scared of intimacy myself — I always thought love required so much investment compared to the reward like collecting fine wine and waiting as they mature in a cellar. But love is all over the place, love is there the second you see that special someone, and you should simply accept it let it grow. Simply follow your heart. Yet, if you are new to this, if you don't have the smallest idea of what having butterflies in your stomach feel like, the newest single from Filipino-American hip-hop duo Q-York aptly titled "The Reazon" will give you all the warm and exciting feels that come with a budding romance.

Q-York hails from none other than Queens, New York. This multi-award-winning Filipino-American hip-hop production duo is composed of DJ/ Producer Flava Matikz and songwriter Knowa Lazarus. Q-York has collaborated with legendary OPM artists such as Jay Durias, Kris Lawrence, Yeng Constantino, Jay R, Ogie Alcasid, Gloc-9 to name a few. Q-York stands for “Quality — Yields Our Richest Key” and this duo has been making timeless hits since 2001.

"Palawan sunset baby, the view is so pretty, and I don’t mean the sky, I mean you really got a hold on me tight, baby don’t let go"

My favorite thing about "The Reazon" by Q-York is that it reminds me to be present in these precious moments that come with an exciting new romance. Let's face it, these feelings don't tend to stay forever, and "The Reazon" is the perfect theme for when those moments hit you. Be sure to keep an eye (and ear!) on Q-York as they continue their legacy of creating timeless and soulful hits.
