We are up to episode 30 of The Chosen Dozen and this week's cover we have an act out of Canada that goes by the name of DACEY!

Named after Dacey Andrada, the lead singer and songwriter of the act, DACEY explore genres of Alternative R&B, Lo Fi Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, Indie and Jazz. They've gained considerable traction of the last few years, having even received a review by the internets busiest nerd, Anthony Fantano!

As for us here at The Chosen Dozen, we have been familiar with Dacey since Epiosode 2, when we featured their track HOLD ON for one week on the show. Following that, on Episode 18, we featured their single STEPMOM for two weeks!

More recently, they released a new track in collaboration with 88Rising's sub-label Paradise Rising, called DON'T WAKE ME UP, which is the track in question and earning it's fourth play on The Chosen Dozen this week! So congratulations to DACEY and the band, we look forward to hearing more music in the future!!

In other news, we will be introducing SIX brand new songs into The Chosen Dozen playlist, from artists such as Psvlm, Vetta Borne, Kristina Alcordo, H3rizon, PLAYERTWO and Sepia Times.
