On this episode, our cover feature for The Chosen Dozen, we have Filipino-American synth-funk-pop singer-songwriter from San Francisco Bay Area, Magsy. His song "Greedy" will be receiving its fourth play in a row this week, making Magsy The Chosen One for the week.
We first discovered Magsy when we featured his tune "NOISY MIND" which also received a huge amount of love from the Beat This PH community. Magsy has had a great 2022 and has found himself writing some huge hits over in South Korea as well as kick-starting live performances again in his hometown of Los Angeles. He has expressed his love for the Filipino culture that he has inherited from generations before him and hopes to help bridge the gap between Filipinos across the world, which of course, you already know we are down for!
