Based in Virginia, USA, up-and-coming R&B artist Twellly has just released her newest single, “BREATHE” under her LEVEL 1 EP which she calls a “Three P” as it is a 3 songs collection EP. It's got a seductive, sensual tone that showcases Twellly's continuously developing signature sound.
She's teamed up with producer T-Town to create this 80's inspired retro song, who's worked with the likes of incredibly successful artists such as Chris Brown, Future, and Tyga, amongst others. “BREATHE” was also co-written by Electric Feel songwriter Ebby. "It’s a modern-day MJ vibe with a mixture of an R&B vocals", states Twellly on the vibe of the song, "I’m inspired a lot by old school vibes", she adds. Surprisingly, the project was one that was sitting in the archives, T-Town re-exploring the song and adding new production to create a track-ready for release. "I appreciate producers that help build with up and coming artists", she shares about the decorated producer.
When discussing the meaning of the lyrics of the song, Twellly explains that its "about giving yourself credit for all the progress you’ve done in life, relationships, anything and just calming down, cause everything is gonna be okay", an important message that’s combined with a sweet tone which really resonates with her listeners.

When asked about what advice she'd give to other aspiring artists, she insisted on the importance of self-dependence and remembering your uniqueness. “As individuals, we can make it happen with hard work and to just believe in yourself!”, she insists, “it takes one song to make it and I’m on that journey now and I’ll never give up!”.
Twellly’s determination and discipline truly does reflect on her consistent output of amazing music. With over 15,000 monthly listeners and a growing 200,000 streams on her single “FREAKY” on Spotify, it is clear that Twellly is steadily making her mark on the music industry and that her discipline is paying off.
